HAPPY....
...Mother's Day to the best mom ever! (I'm sure a lot of daughters say that to their moms, but really, mine rocks!) She's one of the biggest influences in my life, particularly in my desire to be in the academe. Her list of achievements, big and small, is amazing! I mean, anyone who graduates from college, with honors, at age 19 must be pretty damn good! And even with all these, she's probably one of the most humble people I know. And I love her for that! Well, I love her for many other things, but I really admire her for that! Big hugs to you, Mama!
...Birthday to my best(est) friend EVER...my hubby! We can just celebrate your birthday when you get here na. I know this coming year will be full of surprises, changes, and adjustment. But that's okay...it's going to start out great because we're finally going to be together! We can finally greet each other in the same time zone! No more good mornings for me when I'm wishing you good night! hahahaha. I love you, John!
Sigh...Reality check: finals week is coming up. Five more days of panic...starting now...argggghhhhhhh!!!!!
