Wildflower Walk at the Konza

I've been out to the Konza Prairie several times and this time around, I decided to bring along the camera. I'm glad I did! I was experimenting with all the different bells and whistles and given another opportunity, I'm not sure I'll come up with the same pictures as I have here. So I'm gonna share now while I'm still feeling pretty good about myself. hahahaha. Ahhhh, the wonders of digital photography. And no, I didn't use photoshop or any of the photo editing tools. I was so focused on experimenting I didn't catch any of the names, but they are pretty:) The sunset was a favorite too!

looks great for an experimental :D; did u shoot mostly on portrait mode to get the effect of sharp foreground (subject) and slightly blurred background? this is my favorite setting (when auto-only shooting). amz, try this technique next time: don't center the subject; tips here: The Rule of Thirds (http://www.silverlight.co.uk/tutorials/compose_expose/thirds.html). Have fun shooting! it's the best hobby(for me anyway)!
