So I was never really into reality TV shows (well, except American Idol), but when a friend of mine told me that there are two contestants from Baguio in Pinoy Dream Academy , I searched YouTube for a glimpse. That glimpse has since turned into my daily dose. I am addicted. hahahaha. Who would've thought I'd go for something like that? Corny as it may sound, I like watching the "scholars" learn and grow. Of course I've got my favorites, but generally, the students are getting so much out of the experience. Music/performance/dance lessons taught by the best in the industry would cost so much money--and since most of these students don't come from rich families, the lessons in themselves are gifts. I just hope that when they get out and face the real world, they'd know to be thankful for the experience rather than let the fame (and new found fortune) get to their heads. If you're stressed, bored, and needing to kill time, I highly recommend watching a few episodes. hahaha. You might learn a bit along the way... maybe.
Oh, and by the way, go Yeng and Yvan! hahaha.
