I was organizing the photos from the NC trip (I know, ten years later...), and I came across the video I took at The Melting Pot. That meal was awesome...thanks again, Stan!!!
None of us took pictures of the appetizer nor the salad. We were so excited to dive right in, we forgot all about our cams (I guess you can kind of see it in the pic above). The Quattro Formaggio Cheese Fondue was a combination of provolone, asiago, fontina, and gruyere, slowly melted in a cup of dry white wine. Basil pesto, roasted red pepper marinara, and several other ingredients added to the complexity of flavor. It was served with slices of pumpernickel and french bread and get this, sliced green apples. That was surprisingly good! The Caesar salad that followed was delicious as well. I think the parmesan encrusted pine nuts was a great touch!
Below are some pics and here's a video of our server explaining what all came with the main course...YUMMMMMY! We decided to try the Fondue Feast cooked Mojo style ("Bourguignonne Caribbean seasoned bouillon with distinctive flavors of fresh garlic with a citrus flair!") [sorry the vid's a little dark, but you can still hear what he's saying].
Dessert was absolute heaven. hahaha. Cheesecake dipped in rich, creamy dark chocolate...need I say more? haha. The oreo covered marshmallow was great too. I think my favorite was the pineapple, though. Simple, but the contrast in flavor was just superb:)
At first we didn't think we'd get full on fondue since the servings looked small...but jeez, we were stuffed! We got back to the hotel and topped the dinner off with a bottle of blush wine that we brought home from Childress Vineyards. Great stuff! I guess you can say we started the new year right:) Woohoo!

You had me at provolone. Whenever/wherever it is we finally get to see each other again, I'm sure there's going to be a lot of food involved!
