Last night, I finally had the chance to get some sleep. Seriously, the past week has been awful! But after all that stress, here it is...my draft! DONE! Delivered to my committee! Now I have two weeks to prepare for the BIG DAY!!!
On August 20, send up a prayer for me, will you? Three years of my life (and my brain--or what's left of it) will go in front of a committee who will decide if it was worth it. hahaha.
But just for today, I told my prof I was going to do nothing...hahaha. I think I might go back to bed for a nap this afternoon. I need to catch up on all the nights I didn't sleep...literally...I only slept an average of about three hours each night, if that. Even when I lay down, I could not sleep...I just kept seeing all my data/statistics/analysis running around in my head so I figured I might as well stay up and write. I hope that my committee accepts it with minimal revisions (none would be even better, but every candidate knows that's just not gonna happen).
So this is how it feels to hold the document in your hand. What a relief!!!!

Congratulations Amz! I am certain it's brilliant (although I probably won't understand half of it). I suppose after this, you (and John, of course) can run off to the Bahamas and take over one of those 5-star operations right? I'm so excited for you!!!
