in a nutshell

my life = john, my family, friends, and the academe * i love to cook * i love being a prof * i like feel-good movies, curling up with a book, happy endings, romantic poems, flowers, and all that jazz * i love music—I may be tone deaf, but i can dance * i'd like to think i'm an optimist * i could be sarcastic, but only when provoked * i am a paradox--i'm obsessed with having a plan, to-do lists, my calendar whenever, wherever; but i'm also a class-act procrastinator * i cry easily, i also laugh hard...laughing is good for the soul * i could go on...but i'll let you be the judge. enjoy the blog!
