John lived in Italy for a year and he's been telling me how much he missed the food. There really isn't a decent "authentic" Italian resto in town, and since we were in Topeka anyway, I decided to take him to the Olive Garden. He was not disappointed:)
Here's John patiently waiting for his food. I'm not sure he really knew what he was in for when he insisted to order what he did:).

After walking around to watch me shop...he was certainly ready to attack the [unlimited] salad and breadsticks. Rick, our adorable and quirky waiter warned John he shouldn't go all out just yet...gotta save some space for the main deal!
The Tour of Italy proved to be a challenge to put away! hahaha. We had a running bet with Rick that John's not gonna make it through. Needless to say, we left a clean plate at the restaurant. John's a bottomless pit! hehehehe...we cheated a little though...i helped him with some of the chicken and pasta...

I had to take the rest of this home because I had no space left. The Ravioli di Portabella was definitely worth the 45 minute drive to Olive Garden:) hahahahha
