it's been quite a rough month...it's that time of the semester i call the burn out stage...when you finally realize that 4 1/2 hours of sleep just doesn't cut it!
for now, i'll just post some VERY random thoughts in no particular order...i don't think i can really come up with one coherent piece of prose right now. hahaha
...so my research papers got accepted to the conference. wooopiiii...but then, it also means more deadlines to meet. hahaha. the price you pay for 15 minutes of fame at a conference...15 minutes, then the know-it-all's in the audience kill you with questions that no one can really answer. i wish that the people who go to my sessions actually have something constructive to say.
...i got to see the byahe tayo video from the philippine department of tourism. kudos to the artists who helped out with the effort. i seriously am battling with a massive case of homesickness because of that. i showed my friends and my professors, and they kept saying that they were amazed at how beautiful the philippines is...hay...sayang talaga i didn't get to visit all the wonderful places while i was still there. ni di nga ako lumampas ng cavite eh! hahaha....sad, noh? well, at least i've been to sagada. hehehe
...ok, sige, back to work muna. i just need to re-energize my brain by doing something non-academic. hahaha. i've been staring at the same paragraph for about 10 minutes...needed a breather.
